Frasier
Often overlooked, Frasier was one of the smartest sitcoms ever to air on TV! The beloved series was a stuffy yet endearingly funny spin-off of Cheers. Dr. Frasier Crane was a blowhard who needed to learn to relax (as did his brother). Their dad was a breath of fresh air and a constant thorn in their sides. Plus, Eddie the dog was the true star. With a show this fantastic, it's hard to imagine tragedy striking. Then 9/11 happened and everyone's world turned upside-down. One of the executive producers (and the show's creator) David Angell and his wife Lynn were on the plane that was hijacked before crashing into the North Tower that morning.
