A Dog To Improve Work Performance
The thing this HR representative learned was that seemingly normal new hires can become totally abnormal a week after they've started the job. Case in point is this story about an employee who walked into the CEO's office and demanded a dog because she thought it would improve her performance at work. Unfortunately, the rep wasn't in the room when it happened, but the employee didn't get the dog. She also lost her job, but it was for totally unrelated reasons.
