Evading The IRS
Some people get side jobs that pay under the table, meaning the earnings aren't reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Since they don't declare their earnings, they don't pay taxes, even though they should. But this person realized they were earning way too much, so they went casually dressed to an interview and explained to the interviewer why they really wanted the job. But as far as the HR representative was concerned, the person overshared and it cost him the interview.
