Batgirl Yvonne Joyce Craig 1967
Ballet dancer and actress, Yvonne Craig was "Batgirl" on the "Batman" television series in the 1960s. On the show, she was the alter ego of the police chief's daughter, a librarian. After bringing Batgirl onto the show, it only lasted about a year and then the show was canceled. She played in some other movies and shows before and after "Batman" such as "Gidget" (as Nan) in 1959; "It Happened at the World's Fair" (as Dorothy Johnson) in 1963; and "Kissin Cousins" (as Azalea Tatum) in 1964. Later in life, she became a real estate broker.
