Brian Warner isn't a name that really suits a heavy metal rocker. Perhaps that's why he chose to go by Marilyn Manson instead. What we do know is that he picked his name based on the American obsession with celebrities and violence. He got Marilyn from the famous actress and Manson from the serial killer.
